The 107km Bestmed Berge en Dale feature road race took place near Krugersdorp in Gauteng yesterday and was won by Ride for Sight champions Reynard Butler and Carla Oberholzer.
Aside from the tragic incident that resulted in a cyclist dying after being struck by a vehicle during the race, the event showed to be a massive success.
Team Demacon’s Oberholzer won her third straight race in three weeks at the event, after claiming the national spoils in Oudtshoorn two weeks ago.
