Entries for the 26th Double Century team road race, taking place on November 24, open on Monday.
The three entry tiers for the event, which features a 202km route around the Overberg with the start and finish in Swellendam, are based on a first come, first served basis. There will be a total of 245 teams of up to 12 riders each.

The first tier is available to Pedal Power Association (PPA) members. Entries, which cost R9 600, are open to 50 teams. These go on sale from 1pm and will close as soon as the entry limit has been reached, or at 12pm on Tuesday.
The second tier is focused on corporate entries and will cost R12 600 per team. Entries are limited to 80 teams and opens on Tuesday at 1pm and will run until they are sold out or at 12pm on Thursday.
The final tier is for general entries that are open to 80 teams at R9 600. They open at 1pm on Thursday and close as soon as the limit has been reached.
The Active Bodies outfit, which consisted of Clint Hendricks, Willie Smit, Bradley Potgieter, Ryan Harris, Jayde Julius, Chris Jooste, James Fourie, Andrew Hill, Mitchel Eliot, Kent Main, Pieter Seyffert and JP Burger, emerged as last year’s winners.
