The Tour of Good Hope, which had gained UCI status for the first time this season, is one of South Africa’s premier road tours and takes place in the Cape Winelands area in the Western Cape.
The tour comprised five stages, one of which was a time-trial. The race joins the only other event in SA with a UCI 2.2 ranking, the Tour de Limpopo, which was launched last year.
