South Africa’s elite men’s team time-trial quartet won gold at the African Continental Road Championships in Cairo, Egypt, today.
The foursome of Ryan Gibbons, Kent Main, Gustav Basson and Jason Oosthuizen posted the fastest overall time to add to South Africa’s medal collection on day one.
Earlier, the SA junior and elite women both won gold in their respective TTT’s.
