South Africa’s junior men’s team time-trial quartet won bronze at the African Continental Road Championships in Cairo, Egypt, today.
The medal followed hot on the heels of their junior women counterparts triumphing in their event.
Taking to the road sixth out of the eight countries, the foursome of Jason Bruintjies, Chanton Perrins, Justin Chesterton and Pedri Crause posted the third-quickest overall time to add to South Africa’s medal collection on day one.
