South Africa continued their rich vein of form early on day two of the 2021 African Continental Road Championships in Cairo, Egypt.
Pedri Crause took gold in the junior men’s individual time-trial.
Crause, who was a late addition to the South African squad, covered the 28km route quickest to take victory.
In addition to the gold, Justin Chesterton finished in third place to win the bronze medal.
On Tuesday, Crause was part of the junior men’s bronze medal winning team time-trial quartet.
