The South African national team have been selected for the UCI MTB World Championships taking place in Mont-Sainte-Anne, Canada, from August 28 to September 1.
Cycling SA announced a strong 17-man squad, which consist of seven elite riders, two U23s and eight juniors.
Included in the elite category is Candice Lill and Alan Hatherly, who recently won the SA XCO Champs in Johannesburg.
Henry Liebenberg, who won the U23 race at the XCO champs, will ride in the U23 category.
