Jacques Janse van Rensburg and Nicholas Dlamini will represent South Africa in the elite men’s road race at the UCI Road World Championships in Innsbruck, Austria, tomorrow.
Both ride for the Dimension Data WorldTour team.

Daryl Impey, Willie Smit, Louis Meintjes and Clint Hendricks were all originally selected to represent SA at the world champs but withdrew either for fitness or logistical reasons.
The elite men will take on a gruelling 258.5km route tomorrow, which will comprise over 5 000m of climbing.
Dlamini won the King of the Mountains jersey at both the Tour Down Under in January and the Tour of Britain earlier this month, so the amount of ascent tomorrow could favour him.
Janse van Rensburg finished second at the SA national road champs in February, narrowly losing to Impey.
He also played a supporting role for DiData at the Giro d’Italia in May and took part in various other tours this season.
